Amburana Wood Chips

Amburana Wood Chips Imported from Brazil! A medium toast reveals intense aromas of Baking Spices, Maple Syrup, Butterscotch, Cinnamon, Vanilla and Graham Cracker.

Our wood chips and cubes are designed to enhance and impart complex flavors and aromas to beer, wine, spirits, and select food products. For best results, we recommend starting with 1–2 grams per liter of liquid. Because wood aging is highly variable and dependent on factors such as time, temperature, and base product, adjustments may be made to suit your desired outcome. Sample frequently to monitor flavor development and avoid over-extraction.

Amburana Wood has been approved by the TTB for use with spirits. See page 35 of the PDF found HERE. The TTB does not approve the use of Amburana wood in beer and wine.
