Our wood chips and cubes are designed to enhance and impart complex flavors and aromas to beer, wine, spirits, and select food products. Many of these wood species have a long history of use in Brazil for aging cachaça, and are now being explored for their unique potential in beer, wine, and other spirits. They are well-suited for those looking to explore new flavor possibilities and refine their process through hands-on experience.
For best results, we recommend starting with 1–2 grams per liter of liquid. Because wood aging is highly variable and dependent on factors such as time, temperature, and base product, adjustments may be made to suit your desired outcome. Sample frequently to monitor flavor development and avoid over-extraction.
