The wine once held in these barrels offered layered notes of blackberry, blueberry, ripe black cherry, and sweet blackcurrant, supported by subtle hints of vanilla and sandalwood. Crafted from either French or Hungarian oak, these barrels are ideal for aging full-bodied reds, wild ales, or finishing bold bourbons. Expect to draw out fruit-forward depth, spice, and a touch of toasted wood.
