The name Hoodoo pays homage to the black magic and mysticism brought to the Southern United States by immigrants from Africa and the Caribbean. Elements of the Hoodoo tradition are deeply embedded in Southern culture, especially blues music. Hoodoo Chicory Liqueur is made using Cathead Vodka, pure Louisiana cane sugar and pure roasted chicory root. It is aged in used barrels for 61 days–and put into barrels under a full moon. This liqueur has flavors of dried fruit, toffee and caramel.
