Description
Sotol is a spirit made from a desert succulent from the Dasylirion Wheeliri family. The plant is grown and cultivated in the wild deserts of Southern Texas. Similar to tequila, the pina of the plant is harvested, roasted, fermented and distilled. It is then sometimes laid to rest in new, charred American Oak Barrels.
